03/02/2014: On-Line Mapping Back On-Line
Issue resolved with the help of the support guy's at Ordnance survey, as a result the maps are back!

02/02/2014: On-Line Mapping Issues
The API link to Ordnance Survey Open-Space Mapping is currently having issues as a reult the on-line mapping with GPX overlay at the bottom of each walk page is currently unavailable.

01/02/2014: The first walk of 2014
The first walk of 2104 has been done a three and a half mile loop from Denby Pottery along the Ripley Greenway to the Brickworks near Waingroves, then back across farm land. An easy (if not a little muddy) start to the years walking.

25/01/2014: All Things Local Magazine
The February/March edition of the All Things Local magazine is currently dropping through the doors of homes and businesses around Belper, Ripley and the surrounding areas. This new edition features the four mile Chatsworth walk from Calton Lees to Edensor.

20/01/2014: Weather Data Update
The second phase of a changing the weather data feed over to the Met Office has gone live with the implementation of the East Midlands Regional forecast text on the main weather page.

20/01/2014: Site-Search Off-Line
After a a server move by my hosting company the site search function has stopped working, as a result I have taken the search off-line until I can get it working once more. With luck it shouldn't be off-line too long.

17/01/2014: News Page back On-Line
After a redesign of the news table in the site database the news page is now back on-line for 2014.

17/01/2014: Leawood Pump 2014 Steaming Dates Available
The steaming dates for Leawood Pump House on the Cromford Canal at High Peak Junction have been published and are now on-line. 2014 Steaming Dates

17/01/2014: Weather Data Update
The first phase of a changing the weather data feed over to the Met Office has gone live with the inclusion of a Severe Weather Warning panel for the East Midlands being included on the site's weather page.
